I bought this chair a couple of years ago after sitting in the Lane Furniture version. This has the same frame as that more expensive version. This chair is wider inside and the padding is much better to me. My In-laws have the lane in their living room so I get plenty of chances to compare. I find it has great support for my back. I weight 285 lbs., I sit in this chair every day and it is still holding up beautifully. I picked mine out in a furniture store before buying and after a couple of weeks of searching many different stores and trying a lot of different brands I chose this one. It has that cool Danish modern style.Assembly was pretty easy if you are mechanically inclined. However, I would recommend getting some thread lock liquid from the hardware store as the bolts that are at the pivot points for the back/arms tend to back out over time. This is not poor quality, just something that happens due to use and the pivoting action.One of the other reviewers mentioned the "leather" claim as being false. I can attest to this. One of the reasons the Lane version is more expensive (almost double) is because they use upholstery leather on the seating surfaces. This chair uses a "Durablend" material that is more of a fabric than a leather. It is similar to bonded leather but is really classified as a fabric. I knew that before purchasing but still went ahead with it and have not been disappointed. Again, the actual construction of the frame and base are EXACTLY the same as the Lane. I have been able to compare the two in detail.I have had multiple people sit in this chair and everyone has loved how it feels and make it their first choice when they come over to visit. I hope this review has helped you make up your mind. If you have doubts I would see if a local store has one in stock for you to try. While researching this chair I found the local stores had about the same price and you would get to try it out first.For those who are upset about the return policy of some sellers, make sure you are OK with the terms of the sale before pulling the trigger. Again, if you have doubts find it locally! :-)

My husbands lounger was 4 yrs old and quite worn. I was going with the same company and same chair but thought to browse first because I have new leather furniture and wanted something a bit nicer. I have Merlot leather which is quite nice and found Ashleys lounger the same color and much better looking and much better padding. This is the nicest chair ever! It was easy to assemble. It's exactly like the picture and very comfortable. For a bit more money I got a lot more chair. Anyone thinking about buying this chair will not be disappointed in the quality and comfort.

This chair title states "Leather" it is NOT leather, nor is it "comfort" like they state. Buyer Beware!!!!! Now I have a costly, uncomfortable Adirondack style chair sitting in the corner, purchased for my upcoming back surgery. I can't sit in it, creates more pain from the horrid style with no lumbar support. This company expects me to pay double shipping charges, restocking fees for a return? which just about pay again for this plastic chair! So, appears their business practices is to misrepresent their products with "catchy" titles that are not true amd "stick" it to the consumer who put her trust in them.
