I purchased this Walnut Axiom sofa and loveseat through Coleman Furniture Store, an online furniture company. A week after ordering the furniture I was notified by the local delivery company Coleman Furniture uses, notifying me that they had inspected the shipment and found the sofa and loveseat had defects. They said they would repair the furniture and it would be in 100% condition when it arrived but I would have to wait a few more weeks.I was already concerned because I paid over $1800 for a NEW sofa and loveseat, not a REPAIRED sofa and loveseat. Two weeks later the delivery company brought the furniture and upon visual inspection it appeared fine. The next day after sitting on the loveseat we noticed there was a small area on the back cushion that had started to peel off. Upon further inspection we found that if we rubbed the area with our finger, the brown surface material rubbed right off onto our finger. The brown exterior appears to be some kind of fake, painted-on coating that is supposed to make it look like leather.I have only had this sofa for 3 days but it started peeling after sitting on it once. We are appalled at its condition considering how much it cost and how long we had to wait for it.**UPDATE**I called Coleman Furniture's customer service number, left messages and emailed them with photos and and after a week of trying to get a resolution, I have not ONCE received a returned phone call. Every time I speak to a customer service rep at Coleman Furniture I have to reexplain the situation and then I'm put on hold for excessive periods of time (usually over 20 minutes) often just to get disconnected. I'm continually told they will look into it and call me back, but then I never receive a call. After emailing photos of the peeling leather to a customer service agent at Coleman Furniture, the agent responded that getting it repaired would be "complicated" His exact words were, "I'm not a private investigator... I don't know if it got run over by a bulldozer or what."I will never purchase anything from Coleman Furniture again. If you buy furniture from them you are taking a huge risk. If you receive defective merchandise, don't expect to hear back from them. Customer service is nonexistent at Coleman Furniture.

I have had this furniture for less than 1 year. I have the sofa, love seat, and ottoman. The cushions will not stay in place...you have to lift the back cushion up and then the seat cushion and push them back in every time someone sits on it. Both the cushions on the love seat have not held up...there are sunken in places where we sit on them. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS FURNITURE AT ALL!!!

We purchased the couch and love seat with durability in mind as we have active Australian shepherds who share living space with us. The furniture has held up beautifully and gets more and more comfortable with use. The construction of the pieces is excellent and the leather breathes, a big plus in humid regions like ours.I highly recommend this product.
